Sika® Trocal C-733 is a contact adhesive for Sikaplan® (PVC) plastic waterproofing membranes in connection and termination areas.

Contact adhesive bonding process:

In this process, the substrate and the PVC film are evenly coated with adhesive using a roller. Both surfaces must be dry before application. Sufficient adhesion cannot be guaranteed on wet areas, and blisters may form later. Everything must be allowed to dry completely.
Checking for drying: no strings should form and/or the adhesive should no longer smell of solvents. This takes approximately ten minutes to one hour, depending on ambient conditions.
Place the coated foil over the coated substrate and use a soft broom to smooth out any creases or bubbles from the center to the edges. Full adhesion is achieved immediately upon pressing the foil firmly onto the substrate. This method is suitable for all load-bearing and stable surfaces. Everything must be completely dry during the process.
