Step-by-step instructions

1. Civil engineering works:Excavating the hole, setting the formwork blocks, and pouring the foundation slab. This requires expert civil engineering knowledge and accurate geometric leveling. Please remember to include openings for any necessary water inlets and outlets.

2. Plastering the concrete blocks:By plastering with a cementitious, stable, fiber-reinforced and fast-hardening plaster and filler mortar, you create the basis for your pool.

3. Installation of fleece:Clamp the fleece under the rails at the top and glue it piece by piece to the pool wall or floor using X45 adhesive.

4. Attaching the edge profile:Attach the PVC-coated composite sheets to the inner and outer edges using adhesive and hammer-drive rivets. The foil will later be welded to these.

5. Cutting and installing the swimming pool liner:Plan the individual pieces of liner with overlaps and cut them to size. Start with the pool floor. Welding the liner requires an experienced installer.

6. Seam sealing:The PVC liquid membrane (using solvents) is applied via a PE bottle with a dosing device, similar to a silicone joint in a bathroom, to create the final and permanent seal.

1.6 mm PVC pool liner is extremely easy to care for and requires little maintenance. With proper care, the liner can last for 25 years or more.

🧹Regular care:
The PVC liner itself requires no special maintenance. However, regularly remove leaves, silt, and organic debris from the pond bottom to maintain water quality. Avoid sharp-edged tools when cleaning—use soft brushes or a pond vacuum instead. The liner is resistant to algae and bacteria, so no chemical cleaning agents are necessary.

❄ Winterize:
PVC pool liners remain flexible down to -20°C and do not require any special winter protection. A pool should not be completely drained in winter to avoid damage to the structure and liner from frost or ground pressure. The best approach is to partially drain the water to just below the inlet nozzles/skimmer. It is important to drain the pipes and filter and, if necessary, use ice pressure cushions.

🔧Repair and maintenance:
Should the liner become damaged, it can be easily repaired. Thoroughly clean the damaged area and simply apply a patch using special pond liner adhesive. Convenient repair kits are available in our accessories section. The repair is permanently waterproof. Even larger areas of damage can be repaired this way.

🌱 Extend lifespan:
To achieve maximum lifespan, protect the liner from mechanical damage caused by sharp objects. Avoid sharp objects in the tread if you walk around the pond wearing boots.
